The Joshua Tree tiny home is built on a brand new 26’ custom made Iron Eagle tiny house trailer with 2 - 7,000 lb axels and Trailer brakes. It is RVIA certified through NOAH. (National organization for alternative housing)
Timber framed with treated, zen style shou-sougi-ban siding. The metal roof is copper-toned metal and includes three Velux skylights, one of which opens in the loft for extra light or star-gazing at night.
The interior siding is shiplap pine that has been seam sealed and painted a beautiful eggshell snowy white. There is a - one-of-a-kind, hand-made stained glass window that separates the wall of the downstairs bedroom / living room, you won't find this beautiful piece anywhere else!
Insulated with Rockwool. The subfloor and walls are R21 all the way around, to stay cool in the summer and warm on those cozy winter nights. We have created a unique downstairs sleeping/living room area where the dual couches slide back to create a bed. This bed uses the cushions from the couches to create a sleeping area that is 6” wider than a queen-sized mattress and 16” longer. Beneath the couch’s are custom-made large drawers that are perfect for clothing storages. There is a beautiful picture window in this room that is perfect for sipping morning coffee in bed while watching the world go by.
