Stunning 2016 Mercedes Sprinter Hand-made conversion.

Everything has been made by hand and the internal walls (with the option of a curtain) really gives the illusion of having two separate living spaces. As you come through the side door of the van you enter the kitchen/ bathroom area, straight in front of you is a big corrugated shower with rustic copper taps and herringbone style, saloon doors.

Inside the shower is a Thetford porta-loo so you can use the toilet in privacy. There’s a water heater on board so you have the option of hot water in the sink / shower too. The Kitchen is made up of light weight ply cupboards with thick reclaimed countertops; there’s a lot of space to cook on, a two burner gas hob, fridge and a big copper sink. We’ve divided the cupboards with draws and shelves and there is a big shelf on top of the cab accessible through the van for extra storage.

By hiding a lot of the facilities, these cupboards are mostly empty, for example the LPG tank is stored under the van and refillable by hooking up in garages (its super cheap too) and we have a dial inside the van which shows you how much gas is left in the tank, the waste water is under the van too. All the electrics are stored under the passenger seat and accessible through a false back in a cupboard, the 12v system has an inverter which allows you to plug in 240v appliances.

The leisure battery is charged through a voltage sensitive relay (when the engine is running) & a 100Watt Solar panel on the roof. All fuses and access points are easily accessible

and lab led should a fuse blow. This area of the van also has a opening side window and extractor fan/ skylight for plenty of ventilation when cooking or taking a shower. This fan can also bring cool air into the van. The Van is heated by a diesel heater controlled by a thermostat and has a remote switch.

Throughout the van you’ll notice we’ve placed ights & shelves, hung wooden blinds which allow lots of light in but along with the tinted windows give yousome privacy. There are six spotlights which can be dimmed via remote and two different USB charging points. We’ve chosen a beautiful array of wood and upholstered the cushions, we always like to leave some beautiful houseplants in your new home.

We’d like to tell you about the our latest conversion, a light & airy space that really feels like a tiny home on wheels. Please view our website www.indigoandolive.co.uk
