The Engine has been regularly serviced and has a full-service history. At the Harpers Vans and Rec conversion shop, we gave it a full 100000-mile package this includes new brakes and oil as well as many other perishable items being replaced and inspected. We have seen vans in this kind of condition do 500000 miles without a hitch. Before we bought this van for conversion it has had one previous owner and the bulk of the miles have been ‘no load’ motorway miles and it shows the van is like new in many ways. Having worked closely with our gas safety specialist we have gone above and beyond the safety standards in the gas inspection, the van comes with a landlords gas-certification.

It’s COOLER THAN EVER The compressor refrigerator is an ingenious quick-change artist. Their trick is no secret, but a patented Dometic invention. The Van is heated at the touch of a button. The Truma VarioHeat eco is an extremely compact and lightweight gas heater of the latest generation. It is very powerful and heats your vehicle to the required temperature very quickly. Thanks to the various functions, you can always set the heater to your precise requirements.
If you want the vehicle to heat up quickly, you can use the boost function. You can select the night mode on the Truma VarioHeat eco to operate the heater at the lowest level in its 1300 Watt mode so you can sleep.
You can not only use the digital control panel Truma CP plus VarioHeat to operate the heater; you can also use it to set a temp for a predetermined time so the van will be toasty warm when you get back from a long day out exploring.
The heater is ideal for Off-Grid Aventures in the middle of winter.
The Sink and tap – We use a Modern Monobloc Kitchen Mixer Tap with Pull Out Hose with spray or stream with Single Lever in chrome Chrome the sink is a Stainless Steel Kitchen Sink of Commercial grade by Voilamart. It is a Square Single Bowl and it is Handmade. It has a 5 Years manufacturer warranty.
This kitchen is housed in solid oak kitchen countertops and they are triple protected in danish oil.
The garage is unique in its capacity to hold all of your adventure equipment, whether that is mountain bikes, windsurfers, kiteboards, motor-cross bikes, or a combination. The solar-powered electricity and gas of the van facilitate the freedom to go anywhere. Remember that whatever your sport, hobby, or passion is this van will enable you to park by the sea or a remote lake, out in the wilderness, or next to a race track. Just in case you’re at a campsite, we’ve got you covered with an additional mains electricity hook up and this will auto-start charging the battery too. The floor of the garage is 3mm rubber matting and cleans up easily. The garage also doubles as a drying room and under bed heating.
All of our electrics are covered by Victron. Our battery is a ‘fit and forget’ sealed deep cycle.
We have used the famous Lagun table leg that can pivot and adjust in every way imaginable. You can use it to cook or as a desk a breakfast bar or a bed. You can use it for a family dinner too!
Under one of the seats in the living area, we have a new Thetford toilet 365.
Our Shower has instant and unlimited hot water so you can grab a shower on the move or use it to wash off any dirty gear.
The tiles in the kitchen area with its smooth surface, softly romantic hue and gentle marble effect veining, matt Bistro grey hexagon tile recalls the bohemian glamour of a Parisian brasserie. Its classically French aesthetic will bring the flavor of 1800s Art Nouveau styling to the van and create a striking pattern using the versatile hexagonal shape for a statement feature wall.
For this design, we look to Charles Rennie Mackintosh a Scottish architect, designer, water colourist and artist. His artistic approach had much in common with European Symbolism. His work, alongside that of his wife Margaret Macdonald, was influential on European design movements such as Art Nouveau and Secessionism and praised by great modernists such as Josef Hoffmann. Mackintosh was born in Glasgow and died in London. He is known for much but his offerings on the philosophy of life and art are memorable, He offered “There is hope in honest error; none in the icy perfections of the mere stylist” and “Life is the leaves which shape and nourish a plant, but art is the flower which embodies its meaning”
Regarding Japanese style – This style was admired by Mackintosh because of its restraint and economy of means rather than ostentatious accumulation; its simple forms and natural materials rather than elaboration and artifice; and its use of texture and light and shadow rather than pattern and ornament. In the old western style, furniture was seen as ornament that displayed the wealth of its owner; the value of the piece was established according to the length of time spent creating it. In the Japanese arts furniture and design focused on the quality of the space, which was meant to evoke a calming and organic feeling to the interior. – What an inspirational pair He and his Wife were.
