The dog sets the record, naturally bringing 21 puppies to life.

A British dog was born 21 cubs naturally and is reported to have set a new world record. When Joanne Hine discovered that her dog Mary Jane (MJ) was fertile you were told she could give birth to up to 6 cubs.

But when the date of birth came MJ showed that in fact the number of puppies was much higher. She gave birth to 21 cubs very close to the Guinness World Record set in 2004 by Tia.

But unlike MJ, Tia gave birth to 24 puppies with caesarean section but only 20 of them survived.

This means that MJ set a new record for the highest number of births naturally.
